Our History

Before founding the company, we met as students in the United States where we often frequented east coast bagel shops.  Upon moving to Costa Rica, in 1997 we were pioneers in promoting bagels and opened Boston Bagel, the first bagel bakery in Costa Rica.  Little by little, we broadened our product base to include other types of bread better known in Costa Rica.  Due to the quality of our products and services, we have seen an increase in demand for a wider variety of items that help our clients satisfy the demand of their own customers.  We have developed frozen dough, both par baked and raw, for pizza and a variety of breads.  With our products, fresh baked delicacies are only a few minutes away.  

 

In 2012 we began to export our products to the rest of Central America.

Our Team

We greatly value the relationship with our employees and we know that the job stability of our personnel makes us stronger.  Today we are proud to have some of the same personnel who began working with us in 1997.  The majority of our workers have been with us for more than 5 years.
